Early morning at Mountain Light Institute

Our school is located in the countryside south of Gwangju, in the southwestern region of South Korea. We are in a narrow valley, and the valley provides peace and freedom from the effects of civilization. All the surrounding scenery is natural. A stream runs alongside the school. The air is fresh. Water is abundant and pure.

Despite the rural setting, the city of Gwangju is a 45-minute drive away. Gwangju is one of Korea’s major cities and is close enough that we can easily conduct evangelism there, but far enough that it does not impact the serene environment surrounding Mountain Light Institute.
